DocMaps is on a mission to make healthcare more accessible by helping people find a family doctor—fast.
We started DocMaps because we experienced the frustration of trying to find a family doctor firsthand. We all needed a family doctor, and after hours of searching, endless phone calls, and outdated listings, we still came up empty.
Out of curiosity (and desperation), we posted about it on Reddit—and the response was overwhelming. Hundreds of people chimed in with the same story: finding a doctor shouldn’t be this hard.
So we asked ourselves: What if someone just called all the clinics and posted the information in one place?
That’s exactly what we did. We built an AI that can call clinics across the city, ask the right questions, and collect real-time information—like whether they’re accepting new patients, how long the wait is, and what kind of care they offer. Then we made it available to everyone.
